Company ranked highest overall captive as well as highest in each of the four factors
Mississauga, Ontario — Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada has been ranked highest in the just-released J.D. Power 2018 Canadian Dealer Financing Satisfaction StudySM in the category of overall dealer satisfaction for captive lenders as well as each of the four factors on which captive lenders are rated. The study measures dealer satisfaction with captive and non-captive auto financing providers with retail credit.
In overall captive provider satisfaction, the company received a score of 948, up from 930 in 2017 and more than 50 points higher than the 2018 captive average. The company is the highest ranked captive provider in each of the four factors that comprise the overall satisfaction score, including: provider offerings; application/approval process; relationship with sub-factors of credit staff relationship and sales staff relationship; and lease return.

The J.D. Power 2018 Canada Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study is based on 738 evaluations of captive lenders in Canada and measures the opinions of dealer principals, general managers and finance & insurance managers with their finance provider. The study was fielded in February and March 2018.
